Sunday is a dedicated and multi-talented Healthcare professional with diverse range of experiences and expertise. He completed his Bachelor of Science in Prosthetics and Orthotics at Kilimanjaro Christian Medical University College (KCMUco) in 2020, laying the foundation for his career in healthcare field. Sunday was accredited as an International Certified Prosthetist and Orthotist (CPO) by the International Society for Prosthetics and Orthotics (ISPO) in 2020. After earning his bachelor’s degree, Sunday worked as an Orthotist and Prosthetist at organizations like Muhimbili Orthopedic Institute (MOI) and Mbeya Zonal Referral Hospital (MZRH) as part of his professional growth.

Sunday actively participated in research projects with famous organizations like Tanzania Food and Nutrition Centre(TFNC) throughout his academic career, concentrating on non-communicable diseases and the quality of life for individuals with disabilities. This involvement showcases his commitment to advancing knowledge and making a positive impact on public health.

Sunday passion for helping others extended beyond his academic pursuits. He participated in various Non-Government Organization projects, such as “Ability to Disability” project where he contributed to providing free assistive devices to those in need. Additionally, his involvement in creating awareness about Rehabilitation Medicine, through these projects reflects his dedication to improving the lives of individuals with physical disabilities.

In a unique blend of skills, Sunday also worked as a graphic designer at Micnic Drycleaner Company Limited, Association of Prosthetists and Orthotists of Tanzania (APOT), and Empower Youth Prosperity (EYP) where he served as a content creator. This experience allowed him to utilize his creative abilities and communicate messages effectively through visual mediums with public. His proficiency in graphic design adds a valuable dimension to his professional skill set.

Sunday is currently work as a Tutorial Assistant at Muhimbili University of Health and Allied Sciences’ (MUHAS) in Biomedical Engineering Unit. In this role, he plays a crucial part in shaping the education and knowledge of future healthcare professionals. As, Tutorial Assistant Sunday brings his wealth of practical experience, research background, and passion for prosthetics and orthotics to inspire and guide the next generation of biomedical engineers.
